Rechargeable USB Laser Pointer Metal Adjustable Focus Range up to 10.000 m Green or Red Beam Safety Key | Sansoti

USB-rechargeable laser pointer — no more button cells

If you are looking for a rechargeable pointer, the reason is almost always the same: the previous one ran on button cells and was empty when you needed it, while you did not have the right batteries at home. This pointer charges via USB, using the included cable and an adapter you already have. That makes recharging something you do while doing something else, instead of making a trip to the shop.

The specifications

• USB rechargeable: charging cable included, so no loose batteries are needed.
• Metal housing: solidly made from metal instead of plastic, which also helps with heat dissipation.
• Adjustable focus: turn the head to narrow or widen the beam.
• Stated range of up to 10,000 metres: the manufacturer's stated maximum visibility of the beam.
• Green or red beam: two versions to choose from.
• Keyed safety lock: included, along with the manual — without the key, the device will not switch on.

What to look out for

With a stated range of up to 10,000 metres, this is not a toy. Never point the beam at people, animals or eyes, and never at aircraft or traffic; the latter is a criminal offence in the Netherlands and Belgium. Use the safety key: remove it as soon as you put the device away, so it cannot switch on inside a bag, and keep the pointer out of children's reach. Do not leave it fully discharged or fully charged for extended storage. The product specifications do not list dimensions; it is a pen-shaped, compact device.
