Illuminate the façade instead of the front door

An outdoor light by the door lights up the doormat and nothing else; the façade remains a black expanse. This outdoor wall light for the façade directs its beam up and down along the wall, revealing the texture of brick, stucco, or wood cladding and giving the house shape after dark. The fixture is made of rust-resistant treated aluminum with an optical lens for even, flicker-free light, and its IP65 rating means it can stay outdoors year-round without fading or rusting. The LEDs are integrated, so there is no bulb to replace.

What to look for in façade lighting

• 2 to 8 light points: more light points create a broader field of light across the façade instead of a single narrow stripe.
• 3000K or 6000K: warm white keeps brick looking warm, while cool white gives concrete and steel a sharper appearance.
• IP65 and rust-resistant aluminum: withstands rain, snow, and moisture, with multi-layer protection against rust and color fading.
• Optical lens: even light distribution without flickering, with a constant power supply for a long lifespan.
• Fixed wiring, 85-265V: hardwired and compatible with the standard power grid.
• 5 to 15 m² per light: stated coverage to help determine how many lights a façade needs.

How many lights, and at what height?

With a stated coverage of 5 to 15 m² per light, an average front façade needs two to four, spaced evenly rather than with just one light beside the door. Install them around eye level or slightly higher: mounting them higher creates a longer streak of light downward, while mounting them lower mainly illuminates the bottom meter. Since the light uses fixed wiring, it is best to decide where to position them before running the cables. Power ranges from 2W to 8W, which is enough for accent lighting — this is not a floodlight that bathes a driveway in light, but a fixture that gives the façade shape. Available individually or in sets of 2 to 8, so you can cover an entire façade at once. The black finish blends into a dark façade and stands out against light-colored stucco.
