Handmade Porcelain Plates Set of 4 Bone China Microwave-Safe | Sansoti

Handmade porcelain plates, not factory-made

Those looking for handmade plates are really looking for the opposite of a stack of identical white plates. These four bone china porcelain plates are finished by hand: the blue gradient varies on each plate, the gold accents are never in exactly the same place, and the edges are slightly organic rather than mechanically straight. That makes them instantly recognisable on the table — and makes them a gift that feels anything but ordinary. They are perfectly suited to everyday use: they are microwave- and dishwasher-safe.

How you can see the craftsmanship

• Bone china porcelain: fine and lightweight in the hand, with a soft matte finish.
• Unique colour gradient on each plate: no two plates are the same — that is the intention, not a flaw.
• Gold accents: applied by hand, in a different place on each plate.
• Organic edges: slightly irregularly finished, like hand-thrown and hand-painted pieces.
• Microwave- and dishwasher-safe: craftsmanship you can actually use instead of keeping it for special occasions.
• Set of 4: enough to set a table or give as a gift set.

For those who see the difference between handmade and mass-produced

Handmade tableware is often bought when there is something to celebrate: moving house, moving in together, or a birthday when a gift voucher feels too easy. This set suits those moments because you can see that someone has worked on each plate. At the same time, these are not display pieces you would be afraid to use — hot and cold dishes can be served on them, and the dishwasher is no problem. They pair effortlessly with simple cutlery and clear glassware, allowing them to remain the eye-catching element on the table.
