3.5 cm Mini Security Camera: About the Size of a Bottle Cap

Most security cameras change the room where they are installed. A white dome on the ceiling or a camera on a mount turns a living room into a monitored space, and that is exactly what you do not want at home. This camera has a diameter of 3.5 centimeters - about the size of a bottle cap - so it fits between the books on a shelf or behind a plant without drawing attention. Yet it records in 1080P Full HD with a 150-degree viewing angle.

What Fits Inside Those 3.5 Centimeters

• 3.5 cm diameter: small enough to place rather than mount, and to take with you to a holiday home.
• 1080P Full HD with a 150-degree viewing angle: one camera covers an entire corner of a room instead of just a passageway.
• Night vision with 12 infrared lenses: remains useful in a dark room without needing to turn on the lights.
• WiFi IEEE 802.11b/g/n: works on a standard home network.
• Motion detection with automatic recording: it starts recording when something happens, so the card does not fill up with empty hours.
• Loop recording up to 128 GB: the oldest footage is overwritten so it keeps recording; available with a 32, 64, or 128 GB card, or without one.

Placing and Using It

Place it at approximately eye level with the lens facing the area you want to see - with 150 degrees, you do not need to aim precisely, but you do need to point it in the right direction. Because the device is so small, its position matters: between books works, but behind glass does not, because the infrared light is reflected. Choose the version with a memory card if you want to start immediately; the card is not included with the camera alone. This product is intended for monitoring your own home or space; recording other people without their knowledge is legally restricted, so check what is permitted in your situation.
