Epoxy Floor Coating Tiles High-Gloss Marble Effect 550 g Protective Layer Kitchen Living Room Light Gray Dark Gray Natural | Sansoti

Epoxy floor coating over existing tiles: no demolition required

A tiled floor that is out of fashion or whose grout has turned gray does not need to be removed. This epoxy resin floor coating is applied over the existing tiles and creates a seamless high-gloss layer with a marble effect. That means: no chiseling, no skip, and no week without a kitchen. You work with one 550-gram tub at a time and build up the floor instead of replacing it - in twelve colors, so the new floor does not have to resemble the old one.

The specifications that determine the result

• Type: epoxy resin floor coating: a pourable, two-component-style finish that cures into a hard layer, not floor paint.
• Suitable for tiles and concrete: explicitly intended for both surfaces, in living areas, kitchens, and garages.
• High-gloss marble effect: the pattern forms as the coating flows, so every floor turns out slightly different.
• Contents: 550 grams per unit: a workable quantity per application; you need multiple units for an entire room.
• Twelve colors: from light gray and natural tones to sapphire blue, bright green, and multicolor.
• Composition: dispersing agents, silicic acid, and flow agent; one unit contains one floor coating.

Working over tiles: what matters

Tiles are smooth, and that is precisely the risk: if the surface is not completely degreased and lightly roughened, the coating will not adhere. So clean the floor thoroughly, let it dry completely, and work by area rather than by tub so the edges continue to blend together. Keep in mind that the grout lines may remain slightly visible beneath a high-gloss layer - that is part of coating over tiles and is different from a poured floor. The coverage per 550 grams is not stated in the product specifications, so measure your floor area and allow for some margin.
