Wall Lamp Bedroom Reading Light Fabric Shade 8.9 cm Swan-Neck Arm Adjustable Wrought Iron Wall-Mounted Plain Pleated | Sansoti

Wall lamp for the bedroom that illuminates only your side of the bed

A wall lamp in the bedroom used as a reading light solves a very specific problem: you want to read for another half hour while the other person is already asleep. The ceiling light is too bright, and a bedside lamp takes up the space needed for your book, phone and glass of water. This lamp is mounted on the wall next to the headboard and directs the light precisely onto the page with an adjustable gooseneck arm - not onto the pillow next to you.

Why this lamp works beside the bed

• Adjustable gooseneck arm: bend the arm towards your book and leave it in place, so the light stays exactly where you want it.
• Small fabric shade measuring 8.9 cm in diameter and 14 cm high: directs the light downwards instead of illuminating the entire room.
• Wall mounting, mounting hardware included: the bedside table stays free for the things you actually want to keep on it.
• Wrought-iron frame: sturdy enough to adjust the arm repeatedly without it sagging.
• Plain or pleated shade: available in white, red, green, sage green, grey-blue or mustard yellow, to combine with chrome, black or brass.
• Also suitable for hallways and reading corners: the same lamp does the same job beside a chair or in a narrow hallway.

What you notice in the bedroom

The first thing you notice is that the shade is small. That is intentional: with a diameter of 8.9 cm - approximately the width of a light switch - this is a focused reading lamp, not room lighting. The light falls on the book and part of the duvet, while keeping the rest of the room dark. This means you can continue reading while the other person sleeps soundly, and you do not have to get out of bed first to switch off the main light.
