Changeable frame for children's drawings: display and store them in one frame

Children's drawings pile up in a way no one could have anticipated. You can't throw them away, the refrigerator is full, and the rest disappears into a drawer you won't dare open again in five years. This changeable frame solves both problems: the front opens so you can put up a new drawing in ten seconds, while the space behind it holds up to 150 sheets. The frame is therefore both a display and an archive - what is displayed changes, while what is stored remains.

Why this works where a normal frame fails

• Front-opening system: open it, place the new drawing inside and close it - the frame stays on the wall.
• Storage capacity for up to 150 sheets: the entire stack sits behind the front drawing in the frame, rather than in a box in the attic.
• A4 and A3: A4 measures 21 x 29.7 cm for standard school paper, while A3 measures 29.7 x 42 cm for larger artwork.
• Wood composite: sturdy enough to support the folding mechanism through weekly changes.
• Five colours: black, white, natural wood, blue and pink, so the frame can match the children's room or stand out against it.
• Wall-mounting hardware included: with instructions; there is also an A4 version with a stand that sits on a cabinet or desk.

Where to place or hang the frame

It works best in the child's room at the child's eye level, because then it becomes something they want to change themselves - and that is exactly the point. In a living room or hallway, the frame looks like an ordinary frame, with only you knowing that it holds one hundred and fifty sheets behind it. The A4 size is approximately three times the width of a light switch on the wall, so it fits neatly beside a door frame or above a cabinet. The version with a stand weighs around 570 grams and therefore remains stable on a desk or sideboard.
