Diatomaceous Earth Bath Mat 50x80 cm Quick-Drying Non-Slip Hard Stone Striped Relief Cut to Size Bathroom | Sansoti

50x80 cm diatomaceous earth bath mat that dries in seconds

A fabric bath mat is damp after just two showers and starts to smell after a week. This diatomaceous earth bath mat works differently: the porous stone material absorbs water immediately and lets it evaporate again, so the mat feels dry within seconds. At 50 x 80 cm, this is the largest size, wide enough to step out of the shower with both feet side by side. The rubber non-slip backing keeps it in place on smooth tiles, while the striped relief provides grip under your feet.

How this stone mat differs from textiles

• Dries within seconds: no wet footprints through the bedroom and no damp mat hanging over the edge for hours.
• 50 x 80 cm: room for both feet side by side, roughly two and a half 30 cm floor tiles in length.
• Rubber non-slip backing: grips the tiled floor without leaving adhesive residue, so it does not slide when you step on it.
• Striped relief: a texture that provides grip while giving the soles of your feet a gentle massage sensation.
• Not machine washable: vacuuming is sufficient, and stains can be removed with a damp cloth and mild soap.
• Can be cut to size: adapt the mat to an alcove or a narrow strip beside the shower without the edges fraying.

For the bathroom floor after showering

The moment a bathroom floor becomes slippery is the minute after someone steps out of the shower. A textile mat absorbs that water but holds on to it, leaving the next person standing on a wet mat. Diatomaceous earth works like a sponge that empties itself immediately: the water draws into the pores and evaporates at the surface, so the mat is dry again between two showers. The material naturally inhibits bacterial growth, so the musty smell of a wet mat stays away without having to wash anything. At 50 x 80 cm, it covers the entire stepping-out area of a walk-in shower, and cutting the mat to size also gives you a neat covering for a narrow strip beside a bathtub or washbasin.
