Hallway Front Door Dirt-Trapping Mat 45x70 to 45x180 cm, Absorbent, Non-Slip, Washable Polyester, Natural Oak Gray | Sansoti

Wet shoes stay by the door, not in the hallway

The first meter behind the front door is where things go wrong: wet soles, sand, and a trail that reaches all the way to the kitchen. This entrance mat for the hallway and front door immediately catches the moisture with its absorbent polyester top layer, keeping the rest of the floor dry. The non-slip rubber backing keeps the mat in place, even when someone steps on it firmly - which matters more than you might think on a smooth hallway floor. Available in sizes from 45x70 to 45x180 cm, so you can choose the length to suit your entrance.

Why it works by the front door

• Absorbent top layer: absorbs moisture from soles instead of spreading it across the floor.
• Non-slip rubber: stays in place under a firm step, even on tile or laminate.
• 45 cm wide: fits within the width of a standard doorway without catching on the door.
• Four lengths: 70 cm for just the area by the door, up to 180 cm to cover an entire hallway.
• Machine washable: after a wet week, it goes in the washing machine instead of the trash.
• Natural oak or gray: a braided look that shows dirt less quickly than a plain mat.

Also in the utility room and next to the washing machine

An entrance mat doesn't have to go only by the front door. The same combination of absorbent polyester and non-slip rubber works next to the washing machine, by the back door where the dog comes in, or in a utility room where boots are kept. Because the mat is fully machine washable, you can place it where things really get dirty without worry. The length determines how many steps fit on the mat: with 45x70 cm, you can stand on it with both feet; with 45x150 or 45x180 cm, you can take a few steps across it, which removes much more moisture from your soles in practice. The braided texture also provides grip underfoot, even when the top layer is damp.
