A3 Folding Picture Frame: Change the Display Without Removing the Frame from the Wall

With a folding A3 picture frame, it all comes down to the mechanism. With a standard A3 frame, every change means taking it off the hook, removing the back panel with its clips, taking out the glass, inserting a new print, and hanging it straight again. This frame has a front-opening folding system: open it while it is hanging, change the print, and close it. This makes it possible to create a gallery wall that actually changes, rather than one that looks the same for years after being filled once.

Sizes and design

• A3 format, 29.7 x 42 cm: approximately two A4 sheets side by side; also available in A4 (21 x 29.7 cm) and the US format 21.6 x 27.9 cm.
• Folding system: opens from the front, so prints can be changed while the frame is hanging.
• Stores up to 150 sheets: the rest of the collection stays behind the front print in the same frame.
• Wood composite: rigid material that supports the folding mechanism without warping.
• Wall-mounted or freestanding: wall-mounting hardware is included, and an A4 version with a stand weighing approximately 570 grams is also available.
• Five colours: black, white, natural wood, blue and pink.

Planning a gallery wall with A3 frames

Three A3 frames placed side by side take up approximately one metre of wall width with spacing - enough to create a row above a narrow console table or hallway cabinet. Use a light switch as a reference: an A3 frame is approximately four times as wide. Hang the row along one horizontal line and keep the spacing between the frames even; the folding mechanism will then go unnoticed and the arrangement will look like a permanent wall display. The fact that prints can subsequently be changed without tools is what makes the collection so interesting: the same three frames can show something different each season.
