Making the edge of the patio visible before anyone trips
A patio with a step or a change in level can be a hazard in the evening, especially for guests who don’t know the garden. Large lights are too much; you only need to see where the edge is. This solar ground light for patio lighting casts a low, grazing beam across the floor, just enough to mark the edge and the step. You can place it in the ground or on a flat surface without wiring — according to the specifications, it’s ready to use in thirty seconds — and the dusk sensor turns it on automatically every evening and off again at sunrise.
Why it works along a patio edge
- Low-profile design: stays close to the ground, so you won’t trip over the light that’s meant to prevent trips.

How many to use and where to place them
Along a patio edge, a row of three to five lights spaced evenly works better than a single light in the middle: you want to see a line, not a spot. Place them just inside the edge, not on it, so the light falls on the floor and doesn’t shine into your eyes when you’re sitting down. At a step, place one on either side of the approach. Since each light has its own solar panel and built-in battery — which doesn’t need replacing — you can add more later without changing the installation. When positioning them, make sure the panel gets direct sunlight during the day: a light under a table or behind a planter won’t charge fully and won’t last eight hours. Available in black. We kiezen voor tijdloze vormen en eerlijke materialen. Geen gedwongen stijl — het past in moderne ruimtes en oudere interieurs omdat het functioneel is, niet omdat het een statement wil maken.
Welke lichtbron heb ik nodig?
Staat bij het product: fitting (E27, E14, GU10, etc.) en maximum wattage. Kies zelf warm of koel licht — dat bepaalt de sfeer. We adviseren LED voor lagere kosten en langere levensduur.
Ondersteunt deze lamp dimfunctionaliteit?
Hangt af van het model en de lichtbron. Staat altijd bij het product vermeld. Als het dimbaar is, zeggen we dat. Als niet, ook. Geen vage "mogelijk dimbaar" antwoorden.
Hoe kies ik het juiste formaat en de juiste plaatsing?
Boven een eettafel: 60-75cm boven het blad werkt meestal. Te laag = je ziet niks, te hoog = verliest z'n functie. Voor andere ruimtes: afmetingen staan bij het product, meet je ruimte op, check of het past. Dat is alles.
Komen kleur en materiaal overeen met de foto's?
We fotograferen met natuurlijk licht, zonder filters. Wat je ziet is wat je krijgt. Bedenk wel: de gekozen lichtbron beïnvloedt hoe de lamp eruitziet — warm wit geeft een andere sfeer dan koel wit.
Is de installatie eenvoudig?
Tafel- en vloerlampen: in het stopcontact, klaar. Wand- en plafondlampen: standaard montage, duidelijke instructies. Als je geen ervaring hebt met elektra, schakel een elektricien in — dat is gewoon verstandig.
Wat wordt er precies meegeleverd?
