Meditation Singing Bowl on Wooden C-Frame Magnetic Beech or Walnut Metal Bowl Desk Bookshelf | Sansoti

A sound to begin and end a meditation

A meditation corner needs one sound to mark the beginning and the end—otherwise, you look at your phone and lose focus. This singing bowl for meditation hangs magnetically from a sculpted C-shaped wooden frame and produces a soft, clear tone when lightly touched or moved by a stream of air, fading away rather than cutting off. There’s no rope, no knot and no hanging hardware: the metal bowl is held in place by magnetism and hangs freely, keeping the tone clear and the design serene.

Why it belongs in a meditation corner

• Magnetic attachment: the bowl hangs freely without a rope or knot, so its tone isn’t muffled by the suspension.
• Soft, clear tone: produced by a light touch or a stream of air, without needing to strike it with a mallet.
• C-shaped wooden frame: stands on its own on a table or shelf, without needing a hook in the ceiling or wall.
• Beech or walnut: warm beech or darker walnut, paired with a polished metal bowl.
• Minimalist design: one line and one disc, so it doesn’t add visual clutter to a peaceful corner.
• Portable: take it with you to the room where you’re sitting that morning, without taking anything apart.

Where to place it

Place the frame on a low table or shelf within reach of your mat, so you can tap the bowl without getting up. On a windowsill, the air does the work and produces the tone without you touching it, which is more pleasant during a longer meditation. The frame is available in beech and walnut, both at the same price; walnut is darker and stands out more against light wood, while beech is subtler. Dimensions aren’t listed in the product specifications or variant titles; it’s an object that sits on a table or shelf and can be lifted with one hand. As well as for meditation, the same object works as a decoration on a desk or bookshelf, where its tone occasionally reminds you to take a breathing break.
