180 cm Artificial Cypress Garland for Indoor and Outdoor Use, Premium Artificial Greenery, Door Frames, Mantelpieces, and Balconies | Sansoti

One hundred and eighty centimeters: the length that spans a doorway

Length is everything when choosing a garland. A one-meter garland barely reaches across a door frame, leaving it looking unfinished. This artificial cypress garland is 1.8 meters long—almost as tall as an interior door—and spans the full width of a front door frame, mantelpiece or section of balcony railing. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, so you can hang it outside on your front door and use it indoors next year. It has a luxurious finish in cypress green.

Why choose this length and finish

• 1.8 meters long: long enough to span the top of a standard front door with a little drape on either side.
• Suitable for outdoor use: you can hang it outside your front door or along a balcony railing, not just indoors.
• Also suitable for indoors: the same garland works on a mantelpiece, stair railing or above a doorway.
• Artificial cypress green: stays green all season, doesn’t shed needles and needs no water.
• Luxurious finish: more densely arranged than a simple garland, so it looks full rather than sparse and see-through.
• Reusable for multiple seasons: put it away after the season and hang it up again next year.

Hanging and storing

First, measure the spot where you plan to hang the garland. For an arch above a standard-width door, 180 cm is enough to leave a little hanging on both sides; for a four-meter stair railing, you’ll need two. Hang it with clear hooks or hanging wire instead of nails to protect your door frame. An artificial garland holds up well outdoors, but prolonged exposure to strong sunlight will eventually fade any green plastic; a spot under an overhang will extend its lifespan. After the season, loosely roll up the garland rather than folding it in half to keep the branches in shape for next year.
