Ceramic Staircase Wall Light Ø35-50cm Handmade Design With 150cm Textile Cord Gold Black E27 Socket 40W Lighting | Sansoti

Sound familiar? A dark staircase that needs lighting

Many stairwells face the same problem: too little daylight, a ceiling that’s out of reach and steps where you only notice the change in height halfway up. This ceramic wall light solves that by placing light where you need it — at eye level, directed towards the steps. The visible textile cord runs 150 centimeters down the wall, which works surprisingly well on a vertical surface like yours. No fumbling with hidden wiring or drilling into walls: simply use an existing outlet or wall connection.

Why this model works so well in a stairwell

• Available in three diameters: 35, 45 or 50 centimeters, so it’s proportioned to suit the width of your stair wall
• Adjustable height thanks to the long cord: Mount the light exactly where it’s most useful, without relying on a fixed ceiling point
• Craft-made: Each piece is hand-assembled from ceramic, metal and wood, so no two lights are exactly alike
• Integrated push-button switch: You can switch the light on and off directly at the fixture, ideal if the hallway switch is awkwardly positioned
• Safe light level: Suitable for an LED light source of up to 40 watts, bright enough to see obstacles without glare
• Two finishes: Choose gold-colored or black; both shades complement light and dark wall colors

Made to combine safety and ambiance

Statistics show that most accidents at home happen on stairs, often due to poor visibility. Sideways light makes shadows visible, helping you judge the depth of each step more accurately. The fixture weighs approximately one kilogram, light enough to mount on plasterboard or masonry walls using standard wall plugs. Please note: it isn’t dimmable, which means you’ll always get the same consistent light intensity — more of a plus than a drawback in a stairwell.
