Outdoor Driveway Wall Light Waterproof IP65 LED Strip 41 and 61 cm Aluminium Up Down Black White | Sansoti

Waterproof wall light for the driveway

A driveway or carport is usually the darkest part of the property, even though it is precisely where you maneuver with a car, bicycle, or trailer. This IP65 waterproof wall light is mounted on the garden wall or side façade and illuminates the area upward and downward, making the edge of the path visible without shining a spotlight into your eyes. The longer versions of 41 and 61 cm are ideal here: one strip illuminates a substantial section of wall, so you need fewer of them.

What a strip along the driveway offers

• IP65 fully waterproof: can remain permanently outdoors, even on a wall fully exposed to rain.
• 41 or 61 cm long: one fixture covers a wide section of wall, meaning fewer lights and less wiring.
• Up-and-down light: marks the wall across its full height, allowing you to judge the width of the passage before driving through it.
• Aluminum housing: frost-resistant and corrosion-free, even near the coast.
• Only 3.8 cm deep: stays out of the way of a mirror or bicycle handlebar passing close by.
• Warm or cool white: cool white provides the best visibility, while warm white looks more subdued from the street.
• White or black: black blends in during the day against a dark wall, while white complements rendered surfaces.

Also along garden walls, sheds, and patio edges

The same strip works anywhere you want to mark a surface rather than illuminate an entire area: along a garden wall, on the side of a shed, or at the end of a patio where there is a step. Two or three fixtures spaced evenly apart create a consistent rhythm that makes the garden appear larger in the evening than it would with one bright floodlight. The lights are wall-mounted and operate on 220V; no motion sensor is built in, so you switch them on together with the rest of the outdoor lighting.
