Twenty-four numbered doors, with an ornament behind each one

This advent calendar has 24 numbered doors, each with a decorative miniature bottle featuring a motif from international whisky history. Important to know before you decide: the bottles are flat 2D ornaments made of plastic and acrylic, and they contain no alcohol—this is a decorative collectible calendar, not a tasting experience. The calendar comes in a luxury collector’s box and can be hung on the wall or displayed on a table or sideboard.

What you get

• 24 numbered doors: a complete Advent season, with a new ornament to open every day.
• Decorative miniature bottles: flat 2D ornaments featuring whisky motifs; not real bottles and containing no alcohol.
• International whisky history theme: the motifs represent well-known styles and regions of origin, making this an interesting choice for enthusiasts.
• Plastic and acrylic: the ornaments are sturdy enough to keep and hang again next year.
• Luxury collector’s box: the box itself is part of the presentation and keeps the ornaments safe after December.
• Wall or table display: you can hang it up or set it down, depending on the space you have.
• Eight themed versions: from classic whisky and bourbon to a beer or soft drink version.

How to use it

Put the calendar somewhere you pass every day, because that’s what makes an advent calendar work: a sideboard in the hallway, the mantelpiece, or a spot in the kitchen. Because the box is flat, it takes up little depth on a sideboard and can also lean against the wall. The ornaments can be kept, so after December you can hang them on the Christmas tree or store them in the box as a collection. Bear in mind that this is a decorative product: if you want a calendar with real miniature bottles of alcohol, this isn’t the right choice, and you’d be better off looking for a tasting calendar.
