Windowsill Wind Chime Wooden Magnetic Singing Bowl C-Shaped Frame Beech or Walnut Without Strings Indoors | Sansoti

A wind chime without a tangle of strings

Classic wind chimes are a collection of tubes suspended from cords that twist around each other, get tangled, and rattle with every gust instead of chiming. This windowsill wind chime does things differently: a single metal singing bowl that hangs magnetically from a C-shaped wooden frame. No strings, no knots, nothing to get tangled—and one clear tone instead of a clatter. Place it on the windowsill with the window slightly ajar and the airflow does the rest, so gently that it stays in the background.

Why it works on a windowsill

• No strings: magnetic attachment instead of cords, so nothing gets tangled or caught in the window screen.
• Freestanding: the C-shaped frame needs no hook, so there’s no need to drill a hole in the window frame.
• One clear tone: a single bowl produces a single note that fades away, with no rattling tubes in strong winds.
• Works with airflow: a window slightly ajar is enough to set the bowl in motion.
• Beech or walnut: warm, light-colored wood or darker walnut, with a polished metal bowl.
• For indoors: stays on the windowsill and won’t hang in the rain like an outdoor wind chime.

Also on a desk or bookshelf

The windowsill is where the airflow does the work, but the same object works just as well on a desk or a bookshelf: there, you can tap the bowl yourself when you want to pause for a moment. Place the frame on a stable, level surface and let the bowl hang freely—if it touches the side of the frame or a plant pot, that will dampen the tone. Available with a frame made of beech wood or walnut, at the same price; the walnut version is almost sold out. The dimensions are not listed in the product specifications or in the variant titles; it’s an object that fits on a windowsill or shelf and can be moved with one hand.
