Portable Camping Water Filter Straw 4-Stage Filtration up to 10,000 Liters 550 ml per Minute Activated Carbon ABS | Sansoti

Water filter for camping: don't carry what you can find along the way

Water is the heaviest thing you carry in a backpack. One litre is one kilogram, and on a multi-day trek, those are the kilos you feel on every climb. With this filter, you don't carry water - you carry a straw: kneel beside a stream, suck directly through it and keep walking. The capacity is up to 10,000 litres - far more than you will drink in a few seasons of trips - and the flow rate is approximately 550 millilitres per minute, so a sip really is a sip.

What the filter does and what it doesn't need

• 4-stage filtration: passes successively through polypropylene and activated carbon, removing up to 99% of contaminants.
• Capacity of up to 10,000 litres: one filter lasts for years with normal use on trips, so you don't need to buy replacement cartridges for every trip.
• Flow rate of approximately 550 ml per minute: enough to drink while standing instead of having to suck for minutes.
• No electricity or chemicals: no tablets, no waiting time, no chlorine taste - and nothing that can run out.
• ABS housing, ultralight: it weighs so little that you can take it with you even on days when you think you won't need it.
• For outdoor use, camping, hiking and emergency preparedness: the same stick works in the mountains and in an emergency kit at home.

Using it on the go

Preferably drink from running water rather than a pool: stagnant water contains more suspended dirt, which clogs the filter more quickly. Rinse the filter with clean water after every trip and let it dry completely before storing it; otherwise, it will start to smell. The device is straw-sized and fits in a trouser pocket or the side pocket of a backpack.
