Indoor Grow Tray with LED Grow Light, Adjustable Height, with Drip Tray, Plug-and-Play, Low Energy Consumption, Herbs | Sansoti

Growing plants in a home without a sunny windowsill

In a north-facing apartment, a student room or a ground-floor home with just one window, sowing seeds always fails for the same reason: not enough light, which leaves seedlings long and spindly until they topple over. This indoor seed tray with grow light solves that with an LED grow light that replaces daylight, so you don't depend on a sunny windowsill. The light height is adjustable, so you can position it low while seeds germinate and raise it as the seedlings grow. The drip tray keeps your work surface clean.

Why it works without daylight

• LED grow light: provides the light seedlings need in a room the sun doesn't reach.
• Adjustable height: raise the light as the seedlings grow so they don't have to stretch towards it.
• Minimal heat: LED uses little electricity and doesn't get hot, so young leaves won't scorch.
• Drip tray: catches excess water and loose soil, so you can water plants on a kitchen counter.
• Plug and play: no installation or assembly; just plug it in and sow.
• Use separately or together: the light unit and tray can be used separately, depending on what you need.

Where to place it

It fits on a kitchen table, countertop or cabinet and takes up no more space than a chopping board, so you don't need to clear a corner of the room. Since the light replaces daylight, you can choose any location: a utility room, garage or dark corner of the kitchen works just as well as by a window. Keep the light low above the soil for the first few days, then raise it a little at a time - too high means spindly stems, while too low means the leaves touch the light. Suitable for herbs, vegetables, flowers and other plants during their delicate early stages. Available in two versions; dimensions are not listed in the product specifications, so the product photos give the best indication of scale.
